摘要
庄棣荫是晚清民国时期闽台诗坛的大家。作为前清廪生,又是台北板桥林本源家族的中表,庄棣荫长期充任厦门鼓浪屿林氏府和台北板桥林家花园之西席,由此得以参加林尔嘉创建的诗歌活动平台--菽庄吟社,及其衍生社团--东海钟声社、板桥雅集,进而扩展到日据时期台湾诗坛三大重镇之一的台北瀛社。其所遗《耕余漫草》,诗、曲、联、诗钟各体兼攻,主要抒写雅集之盛、唱酬之乐、羁旅之思、身世之叹、蕉鹿之梦、孤露之感、西河之痛、黍离之悲。庄棣荫每以"诗囚"自况,在创作理念上主张谨严、精思、百炼、求工,论者尝把他比作清代苦吟诗人、毗陵七子之一黄景仁。与日据时期台湾诗坛"四大诗人"--连横、胡殿鹏、林资修、林景仁相比,庄棣荫诗作以性情取胜,总体上呈现悲怆沉郁、至情至性的美学特征。
Zhuang Diyin was a great poet in Fujian and Taiwan during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.As a former Qing government's scholar and the cousin of Lin Benyuan family at Banqiao in Taipei,Zhuang Diyin has long served as a teacher in Lin's family on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen and Lin's garden at Banqiao,thus,he could participate in Shuzhuang poetry club,a poetry activity platform founded by Lin Erjia,and its derivative societies,Donghai Shizhong Club,Banqiao Elegant Gathering,and then extended to Taibei Ying Club,one of the three“important towns”in Taiwan poetic world during the period of Japanese occupation period.His Overgrown,Grass after Ploughing,combined with poetry,song,couplet and Shizhong are the main styles used to express the prosperity of elegant gathering,the joy of singing,the thought of traveling,the sigh of life experience,the dream of banana and deer,the feeling of lonely dew,the pain of the West River and the sorrow over country perishing.On the other hand,Zhuang Diyin,who always regards himself as a“prisoner of poetry”,advocates his creative ideas of preciseness,refinement and hard working.Critics compare him to Huang Jinren,a laborious poet in the Qing Dynasty,and one of the Seven Sons of Piling.Compared with Lian Heng,Hu Dian-peng,Lin Zixiu and Lin Jingren,the“four great poets”in Taiwan poetic circle during the period of Japan occupation,Zhuang Diyin's poems are characterized by their temperament,which shows the aesthetic characteristics of pathos,melancholy and utmost emotion and nature.
