Under the long-term influence of the side effects of antiretroviral drugs and HIV,HIV-infected patients are prone to a series of health problems similar to prematured senility and metabolic syndrome.Moderate exercise, however,on the premise of no more risks involved, could improve immunity, muscle strength, cardiopulmonary and other physiological function, ease anxiety and depression, adjust psychological status as well as combat complications including metabolic disorder, bone mass loss, cognitive disorder, etc.to save the medical costs. It is suggested that the concept of"sports-medicine integration"should be highly valued.Other than the standardized treatment, the comprehensive Effectiveness of exercise should be promoted to help HIV patients enhance their life quality and blend into social life.
