摘要
DNA甲基化是表观遗传学主要的修饰模式之一。5-羟甲基胞嘧啶(5hmC)作为一种DNA去甲基化产物,已成为新的表观遗传标志。由于5hmC在中枢神经系统中分布较高并且在神经发育过程中不断变化,因此,5hmC对于正常神经发育和神经功能至关重要。近年来的研究发现,老化或环境应激导致的5hmC失调在神经退行性疾病发生、发展中起重要作用。现就近年来5hmC在神经发育以及神经退行性疾病发生、发展中的作用进行综述。
DNA methylation is one of the main modification modes in epigenetics.5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5hmC),as a product of DNA demethylation,has become a new epigenetic marker.Due to the high distribution of 5hmC in the central nervous system and the constant changes in the process of neurodevelopment,it is very important for normal neurodevelopment and neurological function.Recent studies have found that 5hmC imbalance caused by aging or environmental stress may play an important role in the occurrence and development of diseases.Therefore,this article reviews the role of 5hmC in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative diseases in recent years.
