摘要
随着经济和社会需求的变化,工程教育模式越来越丰富。从早期单一的工程技术,发展成为包括工程技术、工程科学和工程引领三种典型模式的工程教育体系。分析三种工程教育模式的产生和发展过程,以及在目标、定位、教学方式和学习方式上的差异和特点。在此基础上,提出对中国工程教育改革和新工科建设的一些看法和建议。
Engineering education,used to be purely"Engineering Technology",become a highly sophisticated education system,consisting of three typical models,i.e.,Engineering Technology,Engineering Science and Engineering Entrepreneurship,responding to the need of social and economical development,respectively.This paper presents a historic view and evolving process of these models,as well as their differences in the mission and the way of teaching and learning.From this perspective,a few ideas and suggestions about China’s engineering education are also presented,which may help to understand the current education reform in the name of"the New Engineering"in China.
