摘要
The Call of the Wild is the masterpiece of Jack London,which has been given lots of attention by the critics.The criticsanalyze it from different perspectives,such as naturalism and realism,helping readers to understand the text better.While from theperspective of deconstructionism,there are many uncertainties in the text,like the meaning of call,the image of Buck,the strongand the weak.While the meaning of call can be a call of the wild,and it also can be a call of human nature.And the image of Buckis also indefinite.Attitudes to the strong and the weak are paradoxical.From these uncertainties,the contradictory thinking in asense reflects the life experience of Jack London and his world view.
