习近平总书记对涉农高校办学方向提出"以强农兴农为己任,培养更多知农爱农新型人才"的新要求。马克思主义学院是进行马克思主义教育教学、科学研究、人才培养、理论宣传和智库资政的重要阵地,是铸魂育人的战斗堡垒。新时代涉农高校党委要加大高水平特色马院建设力度,秉持新农科特色发展新理念,坚持"政治办院、育人兴院、学科强院",构建党委统一领导的高水平特色马院建设体系新格局,着力培养"一懂两爱"的知农爱农新型人才。
General secretary Xi Jinping puts forward new requirements of educational direction in agricultural universities that "strengthen agriculture and promote agriculture as one′s own responsibility, and cultivate more new talents who know agriculture and love agriculture".College of Marxism is an important position for conducting Marxist education and teaching, scientific research, talent training, theoretical propaganda, and think tank management.It is also a battle fortress for forging souls and educating people.In the new era, the Party committee of agricultural universities should increase the construction of high-level colleges of Marxism, uphold the new concept of new agricultural science, adhere to the principles of " running college politically, invigorating the college through educating people, strengthening the college through disciplines, " construct new pattern system under the Community unified leadership of the college of Marxism with high-level characteristics, and foster new talents who understands and loves agriculture, with the characteristics of "understand agriculture, devote to rural community and be sincere to farmers".
