摘要
自倍频晶体是一种兼具激光特性和非线性特性的复合功能晶体。从非线性光学的基础理论和激光自倍频晶体的基本要求出发,综述了不同稀土离子掺杂的非线性基质LiNbO_(3)、YAB、LCB和ReCOB(Re=Y,Gd)晶体的发展历程,重点总结了近年来在激光自倍频晶体中取得的进展。Nd:GdCOB晶体的545 nm自倍频绿光功率突破10 W,Yb:YCOB晶体的513 nm自倍频青绿光功率突破5 W。通过电子-声子耦合作用,首次在Yb:YCOB晶体中实现瓦级自倍频黄光激光输出,输出波长在565~570 nm内可调谐。自倍频激光器结构简单、稳定性高、抗冲击性强,在军事对抗、激光医疗、激光显示等领域取得了多方面应用,展现出广阔的发展前景。
Self-frequency doubling crystal is a kind of composite functional crystal with both laser characteristics and nonlinear characteristics.Based on the basic theory of nonlinear optics and the basic requirements of laser self-frequency doubling crystals,the development history of different rare earth ion doped nonlinear substrates LiNbO_(3),YAB,LCB and ReCOB(Re=Y,Gd)crystals is reviewed in this paper.The recent progress in laser self-frequency doubling crystals is emphatically summarized.Nd:GdCOB crystal self-frequency doubling green light power of 545 nm breaks through 10 W,and Yb:YCOB crystal self-frequency doubling green light power of 513 nm breaks through 5 W.Through electron-phonon coupling,the output of watt level self-frequency doubling yellow light laser in Yb:YCOB crystal is realized for the first time,and the output wavelength is tunable within 565-570 nm.The self-frequency doubling laser has the advantages of simple structure,high stability and strong impact resistance.It has been widely applied in many fields,such as military countermeasure,laser medical treatment and laser display,showing a broad development prospects.
