摘要
游戏可以承担传播科学的社会使命,并且是一种长期受到忽略的生态媒介。本文将现有的科普游戏归类,提出了一种新的科普游戏创作模式——众创开发模式,即通过参与式设计引导公众参与游戏开发,以表达他们对于社会问题的理解和认识。这种形式有别于一般科普游戏单向知识输出的过程,给玩家提供了深度参与的机会。我们基于这一方法论发起的游戏×社会的社会实验证明,游戏不仅是一种可以让玩家游玩其中,治愈“自然缺失症”的花园,而且也是一片玩家可以种植的苗圃。要发挥游戏作为生态媒介的核心特点,就要在最大程度上调动玩家的主动性。而共创式开发,正是这样一条可以令玩家开辟新的“机器中的花园”,深化与活化玩家的生态认识的科普渠道。
Games are an ecological medium that can undertake the social mission of preading science.This paper sorts through existing science games and summarizes them into three categories,and proposes a new form of science game development-the use participatory game design as a way to guide the public to participate and to express their understanding and knowledge of social issues like fighting desertification.This form allows players to get more involved with the creation process,exceeding the one-way and more monotonous process of knowledge infusion for the general science games.The social experiment of the Game x Society that we conducted proved that games could enable players to actively acquire knowledge and deepen their ecological understanding in the process of game creation.To maximize the core characteristics of games as an ecological medium,it is necessary to mobilize players'initiative,so that they can not only play in the'garden in the machine'but also cultivate and build their own'plant nursery in the machine'through participatory game design activities like Game X Society.
