摘要
生死问题在彝族古典自然哲学中,从本体认识论到辩证法都肯定世间万物包括人类有生死,认为自然界生命乃至人类的存在,是一个生生死死、死死生生、生死相依而对立统一,而全人类的生与死观念是蒙昧、野蛮、文明三个时代人类社会历史进程的生活写照和生活缩影,反映和再现了人类社会由低级形态向高级形态的发展过程;个体生命生与死是灵魂崇拜和祖先崇拜的具体体现,反映和说明了“生是死的前奏,死是生的转折”的生死轮回观。彝族对人类生死现象的认识,不只有唯心主义的人类生死观,同时也含有唯物主义的认识论,两种相互并存,也相互矛盾统一的辩证思想。
The classical natural philosophy of Yi people affirms that all creatures,including human beings,are involved in the cycles of life and death.It holds that the existence of life in nature and even human beings is a unity of opposites,in which life and death depend on each other;that the evolvement in human concepts of life and death mirrors three stages in the progress of human society--ignorance,barbarism and civilization,which reflect the development of human society from junior form to senior form;and that life and death of every individual are subjected to his worship toward souls and ancestors.Metempsychosis is manifested in Yi people's concept of life and death,as their saying goes,life is the prelude of death,and death is the turning point of life.Yi's knowledge of life and death echoes both idealistic view of life and death and materialistic epistemology,which depend on and at the same time contradict to each other,a classical example of dialectical unity.
