摘要
美籍华裔陈振盼是科普绘本创作领域的佼佼者,曾获得包括凯迪克奖在内的重磅奖项,其代表作为《大峡谷》。本文从陈振盼个人经历、创作风格等角度进行讨论,认为在乡间生活的童年经历造就了陈振盼对非虚构题材的偏爱,其作品的精彩之处在于巧妙融合了不同学科知识,艺术性强,呈现巧妙,重视科学知识与故事的交融,与读者之间有互动,能激发读者的阅读兴趣。对我国原创科普绘本创作者和出版者而言,陈振盼科普绘本所呈现的宏大世界观、踏实认真的创作态度、独特的选材视角,都值得学习和借鉴。
Jason Chin,a Chinese-American,is a leader in the field of scientific picture books.He has won many important picture book awards including Caldecott Award,and his masterpieces include The Grand Canyon and so on.This paper focuses on Jason Chin's personal experience and creative style.We think that life experience of childhood in the countryside makes Jason Chin prefer non-fiction subjects.We can see that Jason Chin fused together different discipline knowledge in his books,his artistic quality is very strong and unique,and he thinks both story and scientific knowledge are important.Besides,Jason Chin always pays attention to the interaction with readers in his books,which can stimulate the reader's reading interest.For creators and publishers of original science picture books in China,Jason Chin's grand world view,practical and serious creative attitude,and unique perspective of creating are all worth to learn.
