摘要
进入21世纪以来,迅猛发展的中国博物馆事业,在整体上推动了世界博物馆行业的发展,但高速变化的社会环境也对当代博物馆的发展提出了更高要求。相较于此前,当代博物馆与传统博物馆的本质区别表现在策展思想和陈列设计两方面,即基于博物馆发展宗旨的展览主题立意(bigidea)和基于观众研究基础的展览创意、释义与设计的完美结合,这一结合由以策展人(curator)为主导的"策展团队"来完成,团队中策展人(curator)、释展人(interpretative planner)和设计师(designer)各司己责、相互配合、缺一不可。本文希望以ROM的展览案例为中国博物馆展览的深入发展提供借鉴。此外,文章详细阐述了在西方研究型博物馆中,策展人作为展览主导的核心作用,及其与释展人和设计师的关系,明确了策展工作中释展人和设计师对展览的意义。展览起于主题立意,通过释展环节进一步丰富,再由设计师以视觉呈现的方式展现在公众面前。后疫情时代的博物馆展览,仍需在体制建设方面不断进行尝试、探索与创新。
This thesis takes the ROM exhibit as a case for the curation of China’s museum exhibition in the future.As the 21st century entering,the flourishing Chinese museum undertaking gives the overall promotion of global museum industry,which,in turn,urges the museums to go all out to keep paces with the rapid progressing society.The way that‘Theme’and‘Display’are mutually complemented interpretively makes a big difference between the contemporary and the traditional museums.‘Theme’here specifically refers to the‘central idea’,‘big idea’of the exhibition representing the mission of the developing museum,whereas‘Display’is the embodiment of the curation presenting a viewer-oriented,creative and interpretive exhibition.The‘Theme’and‘Display’get perfectly infused by the team headed by the curator working together with the interpretative planner and the designer,they are cooperating with each other,each performing his own responsibility in the process.The curator as the team leader is responsible for the overall project,but the cooperation of the three parties means much to the exhibition.It is imperative that museums should be involved in the exploration and innovation of organizational construction to live up to the mission and challenge bestowed by the times.
