摘要
针对盲人学习或阅读盲文困难大的问题,提出一种基于指纹识别传感器盲文识别算法。首先,通过半导体指纹传感器触压盲文书获取盲文凸点图像;接着,对盲文图像进行图像处理,包括二值化分割、形态学滤波、形状识别,获得凸点位置;然后,通过坐标变换计算得到凸点的排列矩阵,并进行二进制编码得到唯一的索引号;最后利用索引号检索国家标准的盲文库,从而获得盲文地声韵母。实验结果表明,提出的指纹识别传感器盲文识别算法能准确有效地识别出盲文书的盲文凸点。该方法将来可以应用于穿戴式盲文阅读装置,把识别的盲文声韵母通过语音播放给盲人使用。
To solve the problem of the difficulty about learning and reading Braille for the blind,a Braille recognition algo⁃rithm based on fingerprint sensor is proposed.Firstly,a semiconductor fingerprint sensor is used to capture the image of Braille bump through pressing the books for the blind.Secondly,after image processing including image binarization segmentation,mor⁃phology filtering and shape identification,the Braille bumps in the image are extracted.Then,the matrix about distribution of the Brille bumps is obtained using coordinate transformation,and the only index of the Braille can also be gained through binary coding.Finally,according to the index,corresponding Mandarin initials can be recognized after searching the library of the national stan⁃dard Braille.The experimental results show that the proposed recognition algorithm can identify the Braille from the books for the blind efficiently and effectively.In the future,the presented method may be applied to a wearable Braille reading device which can play the recognized Mandarin initials by voice.
