Objective:To explore the changes in sleep quality, anxiety and depression of elderly patients with coronary heart disease after evidence-based care. Methods:A total of 80 elderly patients with coronary heart disease treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from January 2020 to April 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into an observation group and a control group, with 40 patients in each group using a random number table. The control group received the routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received evidence-based nursing intervention on the basis of routine care. The changes in sleep quality, anxiety and depression of the two groups before and after intervention were compared. Results:The comparison showed that the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores of the two groups before intervention didn′t have any statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After the intervention, however, these scores of the observation group were all lower than those of the control group with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:After receiving the evidence-based nursing, elderly patients with coronary heart disease had their sleep quality significantly improved, and their anxiety and depression were also better, which suggests that evidence-based care is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
