Using boredom tendency questionnaire, mobile phone dependence scale,self-concept clarity scale and negative coping style subscale of coping style questionnaire,500 college students were investigated from the influencing factors of mobile phone dependence, aims to explore the relationship between College Students’boredom tendency and mobile phone dependence,as well as the mechanism of negative coping style and self-concept clarity. The results showed that:(1)Boring proneness, negative coping style and mobile phone dependence were positively correlated with each other.Boring proneness, negative coping style and mobile phone dependence were negatively correlated with self-concept clarity.(2)Negative coping style mediated the relationship between boredom proneness and mobile phone dependence.(3)Self-concept clarity can regulate the direct effect of boredom proneness and mobile phone dependence as well as the first half path of“boredom proneness negative coping style-mobile phone dependence”relationship. Therefore, the generation of boredom proneness of college students will increase the negative coping style, and then enhance mobile phone dependence, while self-concept clarity moderates the negative impact of boredom proneness on negative coping style and mobile phone dependence.
