In order to explore the relationship between tree species and diversity of corticolous algae, the samples were collected from bark of 6 species of trees in Fenghuangshan National Forest Park in November 2020.A total of 15 species were identified which belong to 3 phyla,3 classes,7orders,10 families,11 genera. The main corticolous algae were Cyanophyta and Chlorophyta. The Trebouxia glomerata(Waren)Ahmadjian,Chlorococcum humicola(N g.)Rabenhorst and Chlorella vulgaris Beijerinck were detected on the bark of 6 species of trees. The species of Cyanophyta were not detected in the bark of two gymnosperms which were Cedrus deodara(Roxb.)G.Don.and Platycladus orientalis(L.)Franco.The similarity coefficient(S c)of algae community between different tree species ranged from 0.38 to 0.80.The S c of algae community between“rough”bark and“smooth”bark species in angiosperms, and between gymnosperms and angiosperms which are with“rough”bark were 0.73 and 0.42 respectively. There was a serious shortage in the study of corticolous algae ecology to reflect the characteristics of attached matrix by roughness.
