摘要 针对KCS船模的操纵性能进行预报,求解4自由度的MMG方程.采用STAR-CCM+进行斜拖试验(OTT)和PMM仿真来获取水动力导数,仿真获取的水动力导数与相关试验值吻合良好.将仿真获取的水动力导数应用到MMG方程中来预报船舶的操纵性能.预报结果与试验值吻合良好,证明使用CFD方法获得船舶的水动力导数,然后求解MMG方程是可行的,并且可以较好地预报船舶的操纵性能.该方法可在船舶初步设计阶段用于获取船舶的操纵性能. In this paper, four-degrees-of-freedom MMG equations are solved for the prediction of turning motion of a KCS(Kriso container ship) model ship. Hydrodynamic derivatives of the vehicle are obtained in advance using commercial software STAR-CCM+. Simulation of both the oblique towing test(OTT) and planar motion mechanism(PMM) test are carried out to obtain hydrodynamic derivatives using STAR-CCM+.Oblique towing test provides the damping coefficients depending on the translational velocities. Planar motion mechanism tests including pure yaw provide hydrodynamic coefficients related to the acceleration and velocity. Hydrodynamic derivatives from the simulation fit well with the experimental data, and are applied in the MMG equations to predict the turning performance of the KCS model ship. Rotation speed of the propeller is corresponding to the self-propulsion point of the model speed. The ship position or trajectory is given in an earth-fixed coordinate system. Velocities for 4 DOF motions(u, v, p, r) are reported in ship-fixed coordinate system. Prediction results like turning circle, roll, pitch and velocity show a good agreement with the available experimental data. It is feasible to use CFD method to obtain the hydrodynamic derivatives of marine ships and then solve the MMG equations. This method is an affordable tool at the preliminary design stage to obtain maneuvering performance for a marine vehicle.
