New Liberal Arts and Discipline Construction of Economics

摘要 随着经济全球化和新工业革命的蓬勃发展,国际政治经济环境发生了很大变化。新时代呼唤高等文科教育的创新发展,“新文科”建设应运而生。本文首先介绍“新文科”建设的时代背景,探讨在此背景下中国经济学的理论内涵与理论创新。在数字经济时代,中国经济学应该采取科学的研究范式与研究方法,将定量分析与定性分析有机地结合起来,同时注重学科交叉,包括文理学科交叉和经济学与人文社会科学其他学科之间的交叉融合。此外,国际化是新时代中国经济学建设的一大课题,需要推动国际交流,不断提升中国经济学的国际学术影响力。在经济学人才培养方面,需要重视培养方案与课程设置的优化更新和跨学科知识的训练,同时重视培养学生的国际视野与家国情怀、道德情操与人文情怀、问题分析与解决能力等,促进学生的全面发展。 Amid the economic globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution that have transformed the global political and economic landscape,the new era calls for the innovative development of higher education in liberal arts where the construction of New Liberal Arts plays a key role.This article introduces the background of New Liberal Arts and discusses the theoretical connotation and innovation of Chinese economics thereafter.In this era of digital economy,China should adopt scientific paradigms and methods in economics research with a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis and pay attention to the intersection of disciplines,which include the cross-disciplinary integration of liberal arts and sciences,of economics and humanities and social sciences.In addition,facing the challenges of going global in the new era,China should emphasize international exchanges to have more say on economics in the international academic community.To cultivate leadership in economics,it is also necessary to improve training programs and curriculum arrangement with interdisciplinary knowledge.Meanwhile,higher education should focus more the cultivation of students'international vision,patriotism,morality and humanistic concerns,and build up their capabilities to analyze and solve problems as we are committed to students’well-rounded development.
