Public Participation and Place Creation in Urban Space from the Perspective of Media

摘要 当前数字化技术迅速发展的同时让物质空间受到挑战,本文旨在探究城市空间作为旧媒介与新媒介融合的再媒介化过程,以跨学科视角思考人、媒介和城市的互动关系,并重新审视新媒介为当代城市生活带来的积极意义。文章首先通过对城市建筑和媒介发展史的追溯,指出城市空间与新媒介融合的趋势;接着以2019“深双”为例,归纳出媒介视角下城市空间功能层次、信息传递、观视角度、体验方式的新范式特征;最后在公众参与和场所营造的层面提出对未来城市的功能、体验及治理的思路,具体分别从个体数据、公民话语权、审美意识、沉浸体验、艺术介入、情感联结的角度进行探讨,得出与媒介融合的城市空间要体现公民性和公共性的结论,以此展望未来城市空间发展趋势。 With the current rapid development of digital technology,material space is challenged.The paper aims to explore the re-medialization process of urban space as the integration of old media and new media.It considers the interaction among people,media and the city from an interdisciplinary perspective,and re-examines the positive significance that media brings to contemporary urban life.Firstly,the paper points out the trend of the integration of urban space and new media by tracing the history of urban architecture and media development.Then,taking the 2019 UABB as an example,the characteristics of the new paradigm of urban space function level,information transmission,viewing angle and experience mode from the media perspective are summarized;Finally,it puts forward the function,experience and governance ideas of future cities at the level of public participation and place making,specifically from individual data,citizen’s right to speak and aesthetic consciousness;Immersion experience,artistic intervention and emotional connection are discussed,and it is concluded that the urban space integrated with media should embody civility and publicity,so as to look forward to the future development trend of urban space.
