摘要
《噶伦索康巴传》是清代西藏甘丹颇章噶伦索康.悉觉才丹的生平传,由上、下两卷构成,上卷为其自传,于19世纪初问世;下卷为后人所撰,于19世纪中叶问世。该传主要以索康·悉觉才丹的亲身经历为第一手资料,以编年体的形式叙述其早年的政治生涯和晚年的藏传佛教信徒生涯,同时记录了当时的一些重大历史事件和人物,并附载作者索康巴给当时西藏地方政教界达官显贵所写的信件及自己创作的诗歌,该传对研究18世纪末19世纪初西藏地方社会、历.史,以及民族关系等方面具有重要的史料价值。
The Biograhy of Bkav-blonSurkhang baconsists of two parts. The first part is an autobiography which was published in early 19 th century, and the second was written by others in late 19 th.The biography based on the experience of Bkav-blon Surkhangba himself,who was a government minister of Gadan Phodrang local regime at that time. The biography also describes his political career in his early years and became a Tibetan Buddhist after retirement. There are some other documents in the manuscript,such as major historical events and figures,letters and poems he wrote to religious and local government officials and nobles. To Tibet local society,history and ethnic relationship in 18 th century,the biography has a great historical value indeed.
