这是PES在芬兰的总部,是一栋有着40年历史的全钢木结构建筑,最初是为了满足一个小型建筑事务所的需要。随着事务所的发展,40年中历经三次加建扩建,但最初的木质材料和结构至今仍然完整如新。1976年的办公室。原建筑的建筑结构是由胶合层压柱和梁组合而成。悬垂式的屋檐保护着坡式立面,在该建筑的最后一个柱廊两端各有一个露台。为该建筑而设计的灵活式家具系列仍在使用。
This wooden office building in eastern Helsinki was originally designed almost forty years ago to meet the needs of a small architectural practice.As the practice grew,the building was extended–three times in all.OFFICE BUILDING 1976.The architecture of the original building was composed of glued-laminated columns and beams.The raked façade is protected by overhanging eaves,with a terrace at each end of the building in the last column bay.The flexible furniture system designed for the building is still in use.
