摘要
道德问题是基因编辑技术发展过程中争论的焦点,学术界存在两种有关技术与道德耦合的假设:或者技术的发展超越了现实争论和挑战,适应并保持了人类的道德需求;或者技术的发展导致了未曾意料的方向,完成了对既有道德的毁坏和颠覆。作为冲突消解的可能向度,唯有推进严谨的科学研究和传播,建立坚实的实证基础;保持与技术发展相适应的道德及社会问题研究;建立广泛、有效的利益相关者参与的对话机制,才可能建构一种普遍化的社会共识,更好地推进基因编辑技术的有效治理。
Gene editing is seen as a"destroyer"to true morality,which implies that people need to look at the problem in a completely new way of thinking.There are two assumptions in the academic world about the coupling of technology and ethics:either technological development transcends current debates and challenges,adapts to and maintains human moral needs;or technological development leads to unforeseen directions,completing the destruction and subversion of existing morality.The resolution of conflicts can be solved by the following paths.First,we must promote rigorous scientific research and dissemination and establish a solid empirical foundation.Second,we must maintain research on ethics and social issues that are compatible with technological development.Finally,a dialogue mechanism involving broad and effective stakeholder participation is needed.Only by following these methods can it be possible to construct a universal social consensus and better promote the effective management of gene editing technology.
