摘要
鲁迅小说中的人物形象与空间环境都有着相当程度的现实指涉,要将之转化成绘画而又要忠实于小说,就需要画家对小说所指涉的现实内容有所把握,也即图像要与语言具备某种"共相"。丰子恺熟悉江南的地域特征与人物特色,又对语言与图像这两种符号的基本特性有深刻的认识,努力追求"语图共相",因而他的绘画取得了成功;而其他如刘岘、刘建庵等同时代画家的作品与小说缺少"共相",往往归于失败。因此"语图共相"的概念可以为以图像演绎具有较强现实指涉的文学文本提供借鉴。
The characters and space environment in Lu Xun’s novels have a certain degree of realistic reference.To transform them into paintings and be faithful to the novels,the painter needs to grasp the realistic content of the novels,that is,the images and language should have some"universals".Feng Zikai was familiar with the geographical features and characteristics of people living in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,and had a profound understanding of the basic characteristics of language and image symbols.Due to his pursuit of"language-image universal",his paintings have succeeded.While works of Liu Xian,Liu Jian’an and other contemporary painters failed owing to their lack of"universals".Therefore,the concept of"language-image universal"can provide reference for literary texts with strong realistic references since they are interpreted by pictorial images.
