摘要
通过经典熏陶、思贤明志、现身说法、耳提面命、保德保身、毋堕家声等诸多方面的劝诫,苏州传世家训对为官者培养清廉自持、刚直不阿、廉洁奉公的高尚品格起着潜移默化的作用。苏州传世家训倡导忠君爱国、事君尽命、济世安民、历官为民的为官之道,以名臣巨儒为期,以廉直自律为重,以实政为官为责,从而培育出众多廉而有为、廉而有能的清官廉吏。
The family mottos handed down in Suzhou play an imperceptible role in cultivating honest and upright character for officials through the exhortation of the classic edification,thinking about the virtuous saints,speaking from one’s personal experience,protecting one’s moral integrity and many other aspects.The family mottos handed down in Suzhou advocate loyalty to the monarch patriotism and serving the people.According to the family mottos,we should learn from famous officials,focus on honesty and self-discipline,and take actual administration as official responsibility.Therefore,family mottos have cultivated many honest and upright officials who are honest and capable.
