摘要
夫妻冲突是中国传统婚姻家庭中的重要问题。通过对题本档案的爬梳发现,在清代广阔的乡村社会中,夫妻冲突甚至会发展成悲惨的命案。这一现象的发生,既有以孝道观与贞洁观为代表的传统伦理观念的冲突,也有因财产纠纷与生活贫困而引发的冲突;既有个人素质和价值观念的分野,也有清代中后期社会环境嬗变的时代诱因。绝大多数夫妻冲突直至命案的发生多源于生存的窘境,而并非触逆了孝道或贞洁等道德观念,其终极渊薮是经济因素而非伦理观念。
The conflict between husband and wife is an important issue in traditional Chinese marriage and family.The study on the files of relevant subject reveals that in the rural society of the Qing Dynasty,a conflict between husband and wife might develop into a tragic homicide.Various factors contribute to this phenomenon,namely the conflict in traditional ethical conceptions represented by the concept of filial piety and the concept of chastity,the property dispute and poverty,the difference in individual quality and values,the changeable social environment in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.It is found that most conflicts between husband and wife are caused by the difficult life triggered by poverty rather than defying the concept of the filial piety or that of chastity,which shows that the ultimate cause is economic difficulty instead of ethical conceptions.
