摘要
当代英国作家伊恩·麦克尤恩是描写创伤的高手,从个人成长的身份破碎,到人际交往的疏离扭曲,再到社会景观的满目疮痍,麦克尤恩落笔于小,却据冰山一角刻画了一幅全方位、递进式的创伤全景图。种种创伤势所必然,既体现了个体自我意识的构建失败,也是个体成长中家庭缺位的直接结果,又是现代文明的固疾所致。创伤叙事之后是麦克尤恩对个体生命的关切和社会发展的关照,在逃无可逃的创伤与罪无可赎的孽障之下,麦克尤恩从没有放弃探索救赎的努力。
Ian McEwan,a contemporary British writer,is a master of trauma.From the collapse of personal identity,alienation and distortion of interpersonal communication to the devastation of social landscape,a multi-layered and progressive trauma panorama is presented by just the tip of the iceberg.Trauma is inevitable.It represents a failure to construct a sense of individuals,a consequence by the absence of family in the growth of individuals and a disease of modern civilization.The narrative of trauma is followed by McEwan’s concern for individual life and attention to social development.In a situation of unavoidable trauma and due sin,McEwan has never given up trying to seek redemption.
