纳米SiO2/炭微球双相填料的制备及其补强天然橡胶的性能表征

Preparation of nano-SiO/carbon microsphere and reinforcement characterization of natural rubber as dual-phase filler

摘要 采用化学气相沉积法(CVD),以乙炔气体为碳源制备炭微球(Carbon microspheres,CM),再以原位聚合的方法在CM表面原位接枝纳米二氧化硅(SiO2),制成双相填料,并用该双相填料补强天然橡胶(NR)。通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和红外光谱分析仪(FTIR)等对该填料进行表征,测试对应硫化胶断裂伸长率、磨耗量等。结果表明CM表面原位生长SiO2成功,两者是通过化学键而非物理的吸附结合。对应硫化胶与只添加CM的硫化胶相比,断裂伸长率、硬度分别提升9.82%、8.63%,磨耗量降低61.23%,抗湿滑性能提升11.26%。 Carbon microspheres(CM) are prepared by chemical vapor deposition(CVD) with acetylene gas as the carbon source, and nano-silica(SiO2) is grafted on the surface of CM by in-situ polymerization to make double phase filler, for the purpose of using this dual-phase filler to reinforce natural rubber(NR). The filler is characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and infrared spectrum analyzer(FTIR), and the corresponding elongation at break and abrasion amount of the vulcanizate are tested. The results show that SiO2 is successfully grown in-situ on the CM surface, which binding is through chemical bonds, rather than physical adsorption.Compared with the vulcanizates with only CM, the corresponding vulcanizates have increased elongation at break and hardness by9.82% and 8.63%, respectively, reduced abrasion by 61.23%, and improved wet skid resistance by 11.26%.
