傅统先的教育学术思想——纪念傅统先诞辰110周年

摘要 傅统先视教育哲学为教育事业的灵魂。他认为哲学是思想,教育是行为,这是整个生活的两个方面;教育哲学是用哲学来探讨教育问题的学科;他主张建设一种适合于中国社会哲学的教育哲学。傅统先一生扎根于教育事业,心系教育理论与教育实践的发展。他认为社会是检验学校教育理论的归宿;他倡导教育家肩负起办教育的重任。傅统先关注“人的全面发展”与教育。他指出德、智、体、美是互相联系,互相渗透的,道德教育是教师首要重视的,教劳结合是实现人的全面发展的基本途径,美育是实现人的全面发展的重要组成部分。傅统先融心理学于哲学研究教与学的问题。他主张教师是教学活动的指导者和启发者,教材编写与课程设计应关照儿童与社会,教师应灵活运用各种教学法。这些命题是傅统先在不同的历史时代背景下,对彼此关联的教育问题的探究,彰显着始终如一、知行合一的学术品格和魅力。 Foo Toong-Sien regards educational philosophy as the soul of educational cause.He holds that philosophy refers to thoughts while education relates to behavior,which are two aspects of the whole life.He argues that the philosophy of education is a subject that uses philosophy to discuss educational problems.Also,he advocates the construction of a philosophy of education suitable for Chinese social philosophy.Foo devotes himself to the cause of education in his life and was concerned with the development of educational theory and practice.He believes that society is the end-result of testing the theory of school education,and he advocates that educators shoulder the responsibility of running education.Foo paid attention to "the all-round development of human beings" and education.He points out that morality,intelligence,Physique,and beauty are interrelated and permeate each other,that moral education is the priority for teachers,that the combination of reeducation through labor is the basic way to realize the all-round development of human beings,and that aesthetic education is an important component of the realization of the all-round development of human beings.Foo puts psychology to the teaching and learning of philosophy research.He maintains that teachers should be the guides and enlighteners of teaching activities,that textbook writing,and curriculum design should carefully consider children and the society,and that teachers should flexibly apply various teaching methods.These propositions are Foo’s exploration of the related educational issues under different historical backgrounds,which shows his consistent academic character and charm.
