Objective:To discuss the nursing method and effect of non-invasive ventilator in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with respiratory failure. Methods:From January 2018 to December 2019,60 cases of COPD patients with respiratory failure were enrolled, they were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with non-invasive ventilator, the control group was given conventional nursing, while the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention. The tolerance rate of non-invasive ventilation, the incidence rate of adverse reactions and the indicator levels of blood gas were compared between the two groups. Results:The tolerance rate of non-invasive ventilation in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group, the incidence rate of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the PaO2 level of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the PaCO2 level was significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Strengthening the nursing intervention of non-invasive ventilator in the treatment of COPD with respiratory failure can significantly improve the clinical efficacy and tolerance rate of non-invasive ventilation and it can also reduce the incidence rate of adverse reactions.
