摘要
本文探索英语专业的发展路径和人才培养的方法,认为过去20年的探索和改革解决了英语专业的方向性问题、学科内涵问题,在英语专业内部形成了一定的共识,出台了《普通高等学校本科专业类教学质量国家标准(外国语言文学类)》和《普通高等学校本科外国语言文学类专业教学指南》两个方向性文件。本文认为,英语专业的改革和探索进入了新阶段,即实施阶段。应该在具体实施方法上做出进一步努力,探讨英语专业人才培养的细节,深入课堂,改革具体的教学方法,培养思辨能力,宣传最佳实践,为培养高层次英语人才,提出一套完整的解决方案。
This article discusses the developmental strategy of English Language and Literature discipline,and its method of talent cultivation.It believes that the reform of the past twenty years has solved the major directional questions concerning the disciplines’boundary and curriculum,and has created a high degree of consensus among the teaching community of this discipline,leading to the publication of the National Standards for Initiating the Discipline of English Language and Literature,and the National Guide for the Teaching of English Language and Literature.This article believes that the Reform has now entered an implementation period,facing new challenges in its task of putting those two documents into practice.It should shift work from top-level design to classroom practice,aiming at discovering the best practice and spreading them among the universities all over the country.
