摘要
在文化交流、文明互鉴的当下,史志康所译《〈论语〉翻译与阐释》不仅给读者带来全新的阅读体验,也为儒家经典的海外译介提供全新参考与借鉴。译者在融合经典的本义与新义,兼采学术型翻译及通俗型翻译优长的同时,打通翻译与文学批评的界域,以跨文化阐释性翻译复现《论语》本义;以文学批评视角对《论语》进行引合中西、义解圆足的跨文化阐释。阐释性翻译和批评性阐释以西方文学及哲思为参照系,以揭橥中西思想异中之同的精要为旨归,在跨文化阐释性翻译和文学批评性阐释中,在世界性书写中拨开中西语言之“障”,不仅可使儒家经典意义的开放性及延展性得以全面展现,而且可使原典的历史内涵和审美价值都得以全新开拓,不失为跨文化阐释视角下《论语》海外译介的新路。
In the current era of cultural exchanges and mutual appreciation of civilization,Confucius’s Analects:Translation and Critical Comments,as a latest English translation of Confucius’s Analects,not only brings us a new reading experience,but also provides us with a new reference for the overseas translation and introduction of Confucian classics in terms of its methodology.While combining the original meaning and new meaning of the classics,and adopting the advantages of both academic translation and popular translation,the translator opens the boundary between translation and literary criticism to reproduce the original meaning of the Analects of Confucius with cross-cultural interpretation,and expatiates the cross-cultural interpretations of the Confucius’s Analects from the perspective of literary criticism.The study finds that the interpretive translation and critical interpretation of the Confucius’s Analects provides a new method for the overseas translation of the Analects from the perspective of cross-cultural interpretation.It takes western literature and philosophy as a frame of reference,and aims to reveal the common points and essence beyond the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western thoughts.We should remove the barriers between Chinese and Western languages in creative dynamic interpretation and worlding writing within cross-cultural interpretive translation and literary critical interpretation.It can not only fully show the openness and extensibility of the meaning of Confucian classics,but also completely open up their historical connotation and aesthetic value.
