摘要
磁灶窑是福建省第一批省级文物单位、第六批全国重点文物保护单位。要将海丝精神和陶瓷文化推向国际,翻译准确至关重要。调查发现,译界对磁灶窑古陶瓷的外宣翻译缺少足够的关注,而现存的牌示解说英译存在语法翻译错误、语用错误、文化翻译错误诸多问题。彼特·纽马克的文本功能分类说和贾斯塔·霍茨·曼塔里的翻译行为理论,对磁灶陶瓷牌示解说的英译能提供一定的帮助。因此,磁灶陶瓷牌示解说英译的研究可尝试性地从文本功能出发,在充分考虑汉英文本差别的基础上,针对磁灶陶瓷牌示解说典型的翻译错误实例,归类并提出相关的翻译建议。当然,磁灶陶瓷牌示解说之英译,准确传达海丝文化内涵是基本要求。
Cizhao Kilins,one of historical relics in the Maritime Silk Road,is one of the first batch of Fujian cultural relics and one of the sixth batch of national cultural relic protection items.It is significant to translate Interpretive Panels of Ceramic Relics in Cizhao Kilins correctly in order to propagate them to the world.The investigation shows that the translations on Interpretive Panels Ceramic Relics of Cizhao Kilins receives little attention,and there are plenty of translation problems in existence such as translation errors on linguistic,pragmatic and cultural aspects.English Translation should base on text function and the difference of text structure between Chinese and English in order to convey the cultural connotation of Maritime Silk Road.According to Peter Newmark’s Text Typology and Justa Holz Manttaari’s Theory of Translation Action,the paper illustrates some typical translation examples and summarizes corresponding translation suggestions.
