摘要
中华人民共和国成立初期,为了扭转卫生系统在贯彻党的中医政策时出现的偏差,毛泽东主席发出了"西医学习中医"的伟大号召,"西学中"工作从此拉开了帷幕。"西学中"工作的最初目的是改造当时卫生行政系统轻视乃至歧视中医的错误思想、促进中西医之间的交流与融合,从学习党的中医政策开始,"西学中"工作经历了举办中医讲座、开展在职学习直到组织全脱产学习班的不断探索,组织形式逐步成熟,最终在全国全面推广,在经历了大跃进的高潮之后,"西学中"工作逐渐回归正常轨道。通过"西学中"工作,中西医之间的隔阂得到了消融、祖国医学得到了整理和提高,国家拥有了一批学贯中西的人才,为我国中医药事业的健康发展奠定了坚实的基础。
Chairman Mao Zedong called on the movement of"Western medicine learning from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)"to re-orient the health policy in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.The initial objective of this movement was to correct ignorance and discrimination of TCM as well as integrating TCM with Western medicine in healthcare system.The movement started from the learning the Party’s policies,and turned out to organize TCM lectures,TCM in-service training and full-time training nationwide.After the country experienced the climax of the Great Leap Forward,it returned to normal conditions.The movement has helped to remove the barriers between Western medicine and TCM,enhance the status of TCM,cultivate TCM talents,and most importantly,build a solid foundation for the development of TCM.
