摘要
本研究调查了我国98所高校大学英语校本测试的考查技能、命题、评分等方面的现状。调查结果显示,大部分高校的分级考试和期末考试对除口语外的语言技能进行了较为全面的考查,不少高校重视语言综合运用能力考查;期末考试采用自主命题方式的高校比例显著高于分级考试,但不同层次高校的命题方式、命题质量监控、评分标准制定和评分质量监控措施并无显著性差异。基于研究结果,笔者提出了提高大学英语校本测试质量的建议。
The present study conducted a survey on the testing skills,item writing and rating methods of school-based College English tests at 98 universities in China.It was found that most of the surveyed universities tested many of the linguistic skills but speaking in their placement tests and end-of-semester final exams,and some universities assessed students’comprehensive language use ability.A significantly larger proportion of universities used self-designed test-items in final exams than in placement tests,but top,key and common universities did not show significant differences in item writing,item quality control,rating scale development and rating process management.In regard to these findings,the authors put forward some suggestions on how to enhance the overall quality of school-based College English tests.
