摘要
选取2016—2017年宝昌地震台记录的全球220次MS≥6.0地震,对所选地震的面波震级重新量取,为更好实现单台新旧震级的“无缝”对接,进行了面波震级MS与宽频带面波震级MS(BB)的对比研究。结果表明,大多数地震的宽频带面波震级MS(BB)比面波震级MS总体偏大,且MS(BB)与MS的线性相关程度较高。
This paper selects 220 MS≥6.0 global earthquakes that occurred during 2016-2017 and recorded at Baochang Seismic Station,re-measures their surface wave magnitude,and carries out a comparative analysis with their broadband surface wave magnitude MS(BB)to support better implementation of the upgraded Earthquake Magnitude Standard.It is concluded that the broadband surface wave magnitude MS(BB)for most earthquakes is larger than their surface wave magnitude MS.The linear correlation between MS(BB)and MS is high.
