摘要
通过材料性能表征和材料应用研究,分析沙特基础工业公司(SABIC)开发的产品——长玻纤聚丙烯40Y K710应用于电链锯外壳的可行性。对比市场现有高抗冲短玻纤尼龙,长玻纤聚丙烯40Y K710具有相近的拉伸模量、在高湿度条件下刚性的保持度好,以及更高的抗冲击强度、更低的密度和两个方向的收缩率差值,但是该材料的热变形温度低于短玻纤尼龙。在实际样件测试中,长玻纤聚丙烯40Y K710具有和短玻纤尼龙接近的耐受螺钉多次扭转性能。因此,判断该材料具备较大潜力替代高抗冲短纤尼龙,继而可赋予电链锯外壳更轻的重量和更稳定的耐湿性能。
The feasibility of applying long glass fiber filled polypropylene 40YK710 developed by SABIC to the enclosure of electric chain saw is analyzed through material performance characterization and material application research.Compared with high impact short glass fiber filled nylon on the market,long glass fiber filled polypropylene 40YK710 is of closed tensile modulus,better stiffness retention in high humidity environment,higher strength against impact,lower density,and narrow shrinkage gap between two directions.But the heat distortion temperature of it is lower than short glass fiber filled nylon.In the actual sample tests,the long glass fiber filled polypropylene 40YK710 has the similar resistance to multiple screw torsion as the short glass fiber filled nylon.Therefore this material has great potential to replace high impact short glass fiber filled nylon,which thus can give the electric chain saw enclosue lighter weight and more stable moisture resistance.
