双切槽方形棱柱试样的岩石剪切强度测试新方法

摘要 提出了一种基于双切槽方形棱柱试样,利用普通三轴压力机开展岩石剪切强度测试的新方法。为验证该方法的可靠性和有效性,进行了新方法与传统岩石直剪测试方法的数值模拟对比分析。结果表明,新方法与传统岩石直剪实验的试样潜在剪切面上的正向压力与切应力分布特征和大小相似,表明新方法同样适用于岩石剪切强度研究;同时,发现无论新方法还是老方法,法向正压力与施加的正压力均不相等,实际计算时应予以修正。此外,提出的新方法还可拓展应用至岩石高温剪切测试、剪切流变测试等创新实验的开展。 In this paper,advantages and disadvantages of the existing rock shear strength testing methods were described and analyzed in detail.Then a new method for testing the shear strength of rocks based on the square prism specimen with double notches was proposed.The new method can be used to carry out the rock shear experiments using a triaxial test system.To verify the effectiveness of the new method,several numerical simulations on the tests using both the new method and the traditional rock direct shear test were carried out.Results show that the new method is able to provide very similar stresses on the potential shear plane of a sample with that of the traditional method,indicating that the new method is applicable to testing the shear strength of rock.Furthermore,for both test methods,it was found that the normal stress and the shear stress on the shear plane of a sample were not equal to the applied values and accordingly,these two values used to calculate the shear strength parameters must be corrected.In addition,the new method proposed in this paper can also be extended to carry out many innovative experiments such as high temperature shear test and shear rheological test of rock.
