摘要
中国学界普遍使用的“西学”概念受欧洲中心主义影响,以欧美学术思想和价值规范为主体,是一元排他的狭义化定义。广义的“西学”应基于文化认同,包含欧美文明、伊斯兰文明和东正教文明等多元文化类型。“新子学”理念不仅应以独立的姿态坦然面对“西学”,且应具备根据所面向文明之特色调整传播策略的能力。重新定义广义的“西学”有助于建构国学与“西学”比较研究的话语范式,与“新子学”倡导的“子学精神”相对接。与“西学东渐”相比,中国教育在文理分科、学制制定等方面受苏联与日本影响更深。“钱学森之问”可从“新子学”提倡的多元开放的学术分科原则中获得解答。
Under the influence of European centralism,the concept of“Western Learning”commonly used in Chinese academic circles,with the academic thoughts and value norms of European and American countries as the main body,is an exclusive and narrow definition.In a broad sense,“Western Learning”should be based on cultural identity,including European and American civilization,Islamic civilization,orthodox civilization and other multicultural types.The concept of“Xinzixue”(Neo Confucianism)should not only face Western Learning in an independent manner,but also have the ability to adjust the communication strategy according to the characteristics of civilization.The broad sense of“Western Learning”is conducive to the reconstruction of the discourse paradigm of comparative study between Chinese and Western Learning,which is in contrast to the“spirit of Zixue”advocated by“Xinzixue”.Compared with the“introduction of Western Learning into the East”,Chinese education is deeply influenced by the Soviet Union and Japan in the aspects of“liberal arts and science division”and school system formulation.“Qian Xuesen’s Question”can be answered from the principle of pluralistic and open academic division advocated by“Xinzixue”.
