特朗普在总统任期内的多数举措,常常让人以"政治素人"的不着调一笑了之。将之放到民族国家的大历史中审视,特朗普的一系列提法与做法其实与民族国家的历史处境和当下转向具有密切关系。在争取第二任期的竞选中,特朗普更是遭遇了民族国家"灯塔国"的特殊困境,政治歧路、疫情冲击、经济下滑、族群分裂、社会动荡、外交再造,交错而在,将任期内的政治理念冲击得零零落落,将执政期间已经取得的政绩几乎归零。这不仅显著增加了特朗普连任的难度,而且促使人们重思特朗普的国家理念与施政进路。种种内政外交因素,似乎更加注定了特朗普政治理念的保守性。一种具有宪法原旨主义意味的美国重建与国际秩序重构,若隐若现地展现在人们面前。
Most of Trump’s initiatives during his current presidency are often laughed off for him being an"amateur"in politics.From a broad historical perspective of the US,a series of his ideas and practices are closely related to the historical situation and current shift of the nationstate.In the campaign for a second term,trump has encountered the special dilemma of the nation-state as a beacon of the world.Political crossroads,pandemic shocks,economic downturn,ethnic division,social unrest,and diplomatic reconstruction crisscross with each other,pounding his political ideas and achievements in this presidency to almost nothing.This not only significantly increases the difficulty of Trump in winning the reelection,but also drives people to rethink his ideas of the US and approaches in governance.All kinds of domestic and foreign factors seem to have doomed the conservativeness of Trump’s political ideas.The reconstruction of the US and international order,with the meaning of constitutional fundamentalism,is looming in front of people.
