摘要
清代桂林诗人王必达著有《养拙斋诗》十四卷,为著名词人王鹏运之父。王必达于道光二十三年中举,屡举进士不第,以军功保荐,咸丰五年选任江西建昌县知县,后擢知府,曾多年为曾国藩军队筹集粮饷,颇得倚重。光绪三年授甘肃安肃道后,辅佐左宗棠收复新疆。光绪七年改官广东惠潮嘉道,卒于赴任途中。
Wang Bida,a poet from Guilin in the Qing Dynasty with the 14-volume Yangzhuozhai Poetry,was father of the famous Ci-poet Wang Pengyun.Wang Bida passed the Juren Examination in the 23 rd year of Emperor Daoguang’s reign,but failed the Jinshi Examinations for many times.Recommended for military merits,Wang Bida was appointed as Jianchang County Magistrate of Jiangxi Province in the 5 th year of Emperor Xianfeng’s reign.Later,he was promoted to Prefect.Wang raised food and money for Zeng Guofan’s army and was trusted by Zeng.Having been nominated commander of the Ansu Military Region of Gansu in the 3 rd year of Emperor Guangxu’s reign,Wang assisted Zuo Zongtang recapturing Xinjiang Province.He was renominated as commander of the Huichaojia Military Region of Guangdong in the 7 th year of Emperor Guangxu s reign,but died en route to this position.
