Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Honglongxiahai Decoction plus and minus combined with western medicine in elderly patients with hypertension.Method:A total of 70 elderly patients with hypertension who were admitted to our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into different groups according to the treatment plan, that was,35 patients treated with western medicine alone were set as the control group, while 35 patients treated with Honglongxiahai Decoction plus and minus combined with western medicine were set as the observation group.Blood pressure level,TCM syndrome integral and clinical effect were observed before and after treatment.Result:Before treatment, the blood pressure level and TCM syndrome score of the two groups were basically the same, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment, the blood pressure level and TCM syndrome score of the two groups decreased, and the observation group were lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rates of the control group and the observation group were 68.57%and 91.43%,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of Honglongxiahai Decoction combined with western medicine in elderly patients with hypertension can significantly improve the blood pressure level and TCM syndrome score, and the effect is definite.
