摘要
"地方高校"的称呼源于高等教育分类。通过对高等教育分类进行梳理、总结、述评与展望,探究"地方"分类理据、"地方"共性内涵和"地方"个性路径。地方高校的分类理据为伯顿·克拉克的院校分工理论、马丁·特罗的高等教育分类理论、克拉克·克尔的高等院校职能分化理论和克利福德·吉尔兹的地方性知识理论。地方高校存在教学、科研、社会服务和文化传承的共性内涵。实现地方高校个性的路径为:将"地方"个性维度的五维面向融入地方高校的四大职能过程中,使"地方"院校化,进而实现可持续发展。
The name"local university"comes from the classification of higher education.Through sorting out,summarizing,commenting and looking forward to the classification of higher education,this paper explores the rationale of"local"category,the common connotation of"localness"and the path of"localness"individuality.The rationale is Burton Clark’s theory of division of labor in institutions,Martin Trow’s theory of classification of higher education,Clark Kerr’s theory of differentiation of functions of higher education and Clifford Geertz’s theory of local knowledge.The common connotation is teaching,scientific research,social service and cultural continuity.The individual path is that through integrating the five dimensions of"localness"into the processes of four functions of local universities,local universities will institutionalize"localness"and achieve the sustainable development.
