Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by the interaction of intestinal flora and the intestinal immune system. It is usually affected by a variety of factors, most of which are chronic, recurrent or progressive inflammation. The pathological manifestations are mainly manifested as intestinal immune response and normal intestinal flora changes, mainly including ulcerative colitis(UC) and Crohn’s disease(CD) two forms. At present, the etiology and pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease are not clear, and there are still many difficulties in treatment. As we all know, the intestinal flora of the human body is a huge microbial ecosystem, mainly including three types of dominant bacteria, conditional pathogens and pathogenic bacteria, which are closely related to the normal function of the human body, and the intestine is the body’s largest immune organ. The intestinal mucosal immune system is the body’s first line of defense against the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms in the intestinal cavity. It has been recognized as one of the body’ s most important barriers. These two can maintain the steady state of the intestinal environment through complex interactions. This article discussed the treatment strategy of IBD around the correlation between intestinal flora, intestinal immunity and inflammatory bowel disease.
