摘要
采用甲酸处理阔叶漂白木浆,综合研究纤维素与甲酸的酯化反应、半纤维素的水解以及纸浆纤维形态的变化,探讨这些因素对纸页物理强度的影响。红外光谱分析发现甲酸处理导致纤维素的部分羟基被甲酰基取代,液相色谱分析水解液的成分,证实甲酸处理过程中半纤维素大量酸解,偏光显微镜的观察验证了纤维断裂现象和碎片化。这些物理和化学变化造成纤维间氢键结合减少,纤维交织变弱,最终导致纸张抗张强度52%以上的大幅降低。进一步研究表明,碱处理能够恢复纤维素羟基,由于甲酸处理和碱处理过程均导致半纤维素不同程度的降解,纸页的强度仅发生71%-83%的有限恢复。
The esterification reaction of cellulose and formic acid,the hydrolysis of hemicellulose and the change of fiber form of pulp were studied by using formic acid to treat broadleaf bleached wood pulp.FTIR analysis showed that formic acid treatment resulted in the substitution of some hydroxyl groups of cellulose by formyl group,liquid chromatography analysis of the composition of hydrolysate confirmed that hemicellulose was hydrolyzed in a large amount during formic acid treatment,polarized light microscope observation verified the phenomenon of fiber fracture and fragmentation.These physical and chemical changes led to the reduction of hydrogen bonding between fibers and the weakening of fiber interlacing,resulting in a significant reduction of paper tensile strength of more than 52%.Further studies showed that alkali treatment could restore the hydroxyl groups of cellulose,but due to the degradation of hemicellulose in different degrees caused by formic acid treatment and alkali treatment,only 71%-83%of the paper strength was recovered.
