摘要
本文从鲍德里亚的消费文化理论视角,分析《夜色温柔》里的人际关系。20世纪20年代的美国,经济空前繁荣,消费文化迅速发展并在大众的生活中占据了主导地位,人们的核心价值观由消费所导向并决定。研究发现消费文化使社会环境和人际关系异化,在这样一个过分务实的社会中,人们几乎是不可能拥有纯粹的亲情、友情和爱情。
This article uses Jean Baudrillard's consumer culture theory to interpret interpersonal relationships in Tender Is the Night.In 1920 s,the US economy was unprecedentedly prosperous.Consumer culture developed rapidly and occupied a dominant position in public life.People's core values were guided and determined by consumption.Studies have found that consumer culture alienates social environment and interpersonal relationships.In such a pragmatic society,it is almost impossible to have pure family affection,friendship and love.
