摘要
伴随着中国经济的快速发展,中国的技术水平亦在不断提高。那么中国不断提高的技术水平究竟是抑制还是促进了外资的进入。利用中国分省区面板数据的研究可发现,技术水平对外资进入产生显著的负向影响,并且技术水平越高,其抑制程度更为明显;考虑模型的内生性以及替换不同的变量以后,其结果依然稳健。这也在一定程度上说明,伴随着中国自主创新能力的不断提升,依靠外资,特别是低质量外资来推动中国技术提升的需求正在不断减弱。这从技术水平方面,为解释外资转移提供了一个新的视角。相关结论亦为中国外资引进的高质量发展提供了政策启示。
With the rapid development of economy, China has been improving its technology constantly. However, the increasing technical capacity is promoting the input of foreign capital or restraining the trend? After studying the panel data of our provinces, we can reveal that the technical level has a significant negative impact on foreign investment, and the higher the level of technology, the more obvious the degree of inhibition;considering the endogenous nature of the model and replacing different variables, the results are still robust. To a certain extent, with the continuous improvement of our independent innovation ability, the demand of relying on foreign investment is decreasing, especially on the low-quality foreign investment to promote our technological upgrading. This gave us a new perspective to explain the transfer of foreign capital in the technical level, and the concerning conclusions also provide the policy implications for the high-quality progress of China’s foreign investment introduction.
