Based on the policy of different preparation rate, panel data of 16 listed commercial banks in 2007-2017 is used for regression analysis, and the asymmetry of dynamic adjustment mechanism of differential reserve in the credit supply and management strategy of large banks and small and medium banks is tested by empirical research,it is showed that,by the implementation of the dynamic adjustment mechanism of differential reserve, the profit loss brought by the increase of the reserve ratio can be made up,banks are encouraged to optimize their asset structure, and then their own profit level are improved. Moreover, the credit release behavior of small and medium-sized banks is more sensitive to the adjustment of the differential reserve ratio. However, the implementation of the dynamic adjustment mechanism of differential reserve tends to lead small and medium-sized banks to over rely on the traditional credit business which gains profits from the interest difference between deposits and loans, while ignoring the innovation of financial products and the development of other businesses. Therefore,it is of great significance to quantify and analyze the asymmetric impact of dynamic adjustment mechanism of differential reserve on large banks and small and medium banks to improve and optimize the system of differential reserve and promote the fair and orderly development of financial market.
