穆特修斯是二十世纪早期德国现代设计运动的组织者和德国工业联盟的奠基人。在商务部任职期间,他主导了普鲁士工艺美术教育改革,打破了德国传统的艺术教育思想与教学模式。本文结合二十世纪早期德国设计教育的社会背景,研究了穆特修斯设计教育改革思想的主要内容、实施的方法,以及对设计发展产生的影响和意义。
Muthesius was the organizer of the modern German design movement in the early twentieth century and the founder of the German Industrial Union.During his tenure at the Ministry of Commerce,he led the reform of Prussian arts and crafts education and broke the traditional German art education thinking and teaching model.Based on the social background of German design education in the early twentieth century,this article studies the main content,implementation methods,and impact and significance of the design thinking of Mutusius'design education reform.
