摘要
"单"字含义众多,其本义与字形之解析向来众说纷纭。记载中国弓箭起源的一段古文献认定"单"字本义为弹弓,其字形亦为弹弓的象形。以此为据,甲骨文中"四单"为具有防卫性质的禁地,商纣王的"南单之台"为王族院落宫阙之所。本文同时对里、社中"单"的社会组织职能作了深层次的探究;通过研究汉代之职官"街弹",从文字学角度为周厉王时监谤之"卫巫"正名,得出其实为"卫单"的职官。
There are always different opinions on the original meaning and form of the word dan(单),which has already developed many meanings to date.In an ancient document recording the origin of Chinese bow and arrow,it is believed that the original meaning of the word dan(单)is slingshot,and the shape of this character is also the pictograph of slingshot.Accordingly,the sidan(四单)in Oracle Bone Inscriptions can be interpreted as the forbidden area for defense,and the Nandan platform(南单之台)owned by King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty can be understood as the palace in the Royal courtyard.Moreover,this article makes a deep exploration of the social organizational function of Shan(单)in Li(里)and She(社).Then through the study of the offi cial jietan(街弹)in the Han Dynasty,and from the perspective of philology,this article identifi es the offi cial Weiwu(卫巫)who was slandered by King Li of the Zhou Dynasty as Weidan(卫单).
