摘要
高分七号(GF-7)卫星激光测高仪激光器是一台输出能量较大、光束质量要求又高的激光器。为了实现这样的技术要求,采用被动调Q的振荡级+两级板条放大器(MOPA)的技术路线,以激光二极管(LD)侧面泵浦的被动调Q之字形薄板条激光器作为振荡级,以实现近衍射极限的种子光输出,再通过两级之字形板条放大器,使最终输出的大能量激光束能够保持较好的光束质量,满足测高仪小足印光斑的要求。设计的振荡级采用双玻罗(Porro)镜谐振腔,实现输出能量2 mJ、光束质量因子(M 2)1.3、脉冲宽度3 ns。经过两级板条放大器后,输出光束M 2为1.5~1.8,单脉冲能量达到180 mJ,脉冲宽度为4~5 ns,证明激光器设计合理,可以作为对地观测类激光测高仪激光器的设计参考。
The technical requirement for the laser transmitter of GF-7 satellite altimeter is both high energy and high beam quality.To realizing this requirement,the MOPA(master oscillator and power amplifier)stage is applied in this laser.The master oscillator is designed as a LD pumped passive Q-switched zigzag slab laser,outputting a 3ns width,near diffraction limit and low energy laser pulse.Passing through the two-stage amplifier,the pulse energy is amplified though the beam quality is still remain in good,so as to realize a small foot print for altimeter.A cross Porro cavity is used in the oscillator,the output energy of mater oscillator is 2mJ,the beam quality factor M 2 is 1.3,and the pulse width is 3ns.After two-stage amplifier,the pulse energy is more than 180mJ,the M 2 is 1.5~1.8,and the pulse width is 4~5ns,which verifies the design is reasonable.This paper gives the design reference for the laser transmitter for earth observation laser altimeter.
