Based on the ecological physiognomic and structural features of the communities, and coupled with clustering and ordination analysis methods, the characteristics of the vegetation in Nanshan, Shenzhen city were analyzed and the community types were classified. The mountain vegetation of Nanshan could be divided into 1 Vegetation Type Group, 3 Vegetation Types, 3 Vegetation Sub-Types, 6 Formation Groups, 18 Formations and 29 Associations.
